Food By Sue Private Cook

I ran into the corner store with my apron on the other day and a guy asked, "..are you a chef?" I smiled and said, "I'm a 5th grade teacher of 30 years who has just always loved food and cooking!"

Since I am in Houston, Texas now and I have taken a pause from the classroom, I have been given the honor of cooking for some special events. A lifelong love for the kitchen, I would love to help make your next party delicious!

I can cook at my home and deliver. I can cook during your party. Your guests can cook with me. Or not. I dig kids! Basically, I can do any kind of party. Preferably under 50 guests. But we can talk.

My website - "Food by Sue" is under construction. I am getting there ya'll. Thank you for your patience. Until then, you can contact me via email or phone or you can fill out this google form below.

A celebration of a dear man's ordination

Always fresh

Always homemade

Queso!!!

By Sue!

One of my top 10 favorite things to make - SOUP!! Let's have a Winter Soup Party!

Chicken N oodLe!

Ricers!! Fool proof for mashed potatoes! I made a spicy, cheesy tater filling as a nod to my Latino mommies at my old school. They used to make various taquitos that we could buy on Fridays. I needed a veggie appetizer for a wedding event and they are delicious!!

The Taquitos! Mmmmm!

We can talk about your favorite bites and plan a menu together! The possibilities are endless with Food by Sue.

Always fresh ingredients! Gearing up to make the cilantro-lime dip for the spicy taquitos.

Makes me smile! I'd love to make you some!

30 year 5th grade teacher, stand up comic, and home cook - Food by Sue is not only delicious & comforting, but there's that infectious joy too!

Everyone happy and full after a Food by Sue partay!

Any of my students over a 30 year career will vouch for my love of Italian cooking. Food by Sue will always serve the community. I made rigatoni alfredo & sausage & peppers and this awesome team served our community.

Many, many of my students out there have made gnocchi with Ms. Saccoman. Pasta, pizza, lasagna... Always a great crowd pleaser! Forget about it...

Here's episode 2 of the 2022 Great MN Recipe:
This was forever ago, but I love it. One of our recipe days with my 5th graders that my friend filmed for a Food Network Audition:
